Samsung Galaxy J2 Pro Is A 'Smartphone' Without Internet Connectivity

However what's interesting is that Samsung has recently announced a new phone in the form of the Samsung Galaxy J2 Pro, a smartphone that doesn't come with internet connectivity. The same device has now made its way to AnTuTu benchmarking site, meaning it will be unveiled soon.

The handset appears to be a Samsung Galaxy S9 in all ways except for that speed boost and camera upgrade.

According to the AnTuTu listing, the smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor coupled with an Adreno 512 GPU. In the memory department, the J7 Duo has a modest 4GB of RAM with 32GB of internal storage out of the box. It also became known that the gadget will operate on Android 8.x Oreo.

According to the TENAA listing, the Galaxy S9 Mini has the same 5.8 inch display as the Galaxy S9. They also have the best displays in the industry and the best cameras of any phone available right now in the US. After which, the company have been launching a standard variant and a plus variant of its flagship phones. After the Galaxy S5 mini, the company chose to ditch the trend.

We've seen Samsung defending its smartphones in the court room plenty of times over the years, but there is always another lawsuit around the corner.

Not only Samsung, other manufacturers including Sony (and HTC at one point of time) come up with "mini" versions of their flagships.

Also, Galaxy Note 9 should be thicker or wider to include a larger capacity battery, so an increase in its size would be offset not only by the larger screen but also by a larger battery. However, South Korean tech giant Samsung thinks the world needs a "smartphone" that doesn't connect to the Internet, hence, it has launched the Samsung Galaxy J2 Pro. Hence, the company has presumably chose to come up with a cheaper option that will carry some specifications of the Galaxy S9.

Stay tuned for updates.
