Ronaldo: 'Neymar took a step back leaving Barca for PSG'

Brazilian football legend, Ronaldo Luís Nazário de Lima has criticized the world record move of his fellow countryman, Neymar to Paris-Saint-Germain from Barcelona.

Ronaldo said that he would like to see Manchester City's Gabriel Jesus installed up front for Brazil.

Neymar has starred for PSG, scoring 20 goals in all competitions - 11 of those strikes in Ligue 1 - but in an interview with ex-Brazil worldwide Zico, former Barca striker Ronaldo said: "Sportingly, the decision is a step back".

Police searching for man who shot Tennessee officer
Wilson is wanted by the Knoxville Police and the TBI to face a charge of attempted first degree murder of a police officer. Officer Jay Williams was in the middle of a traffic stop when police say Wilson fired his weapon from inside his vehicle .

He threatened to ruin his legacy among Barcelona fans though when he jumped ship for Ligue 1 giants PSG five months ago.

Such a move would obliterate Neymar's current world-record transfer ahead of the 2017/18 campaign - it's claimed only United and Madrid have the funds to pull off such an audacious move. "At that time, the Italian league was a lot more competitive", added Ronaldo, who won the FIFA World Player of the Year award three times in a stellar career that also included spells at Real Madrid and AC Milan.

"Sportingly, the decision is a step back", Ronaldo told ex-Brazil global Zico in an interview via YouTube. "It's been a long time that we've been looking for a number nine".
