Pakistan take on Afghanistan in U19 World Cup opener

Defending champion India defeated Pakistan by seven wickets in the Blind Cricket World Cup on Friday at Ajman Oval Cricket Ground.

West Indies were similar under-achievers at the junior level until previous year when they notched their first ever U-19 World Cup win.

Meanwhile, Pakistan Blind Cricket Team manager Zeeshan Abbasi has said that they are ready to face India.

The target of 283 runs wasn't challenging for the strong Indian batting line-up as it chased the target in 34.5 overs for the loss of 3 wickets.

India's win means they now top their group, followed by Pakistan.
