Armed man in custody following Greyhound bus police chase

The pursuit began in Wisconsin after police received reports that there was a man inside the bus with a gun, threatening to kill other passengers.

Reports of a person with a gun on a Greyhound bus led to a police chase that ended in northern IL late Friday, authorities said.

IL state police say there is a possible hostage situation being handled by their officers and other law enforcement agencies.

The pursuit is said to have started in Wisconsin and ended in IL.

The pursuit crossed into Illinois, and ended at I-94 eastbound exit ramp to Illinois Route 173. "He was acting insane". There was four or five people telling him he needs to sit back down, he refused to. No injuries were reported. The suspect is in custody, ISP said. No one was injured on board the bus.

Because of this incident, all lanes of southbound I-94 near Wisconsin 50 in Kenosha County were shut down.
