Sophie Turner Is on Fire in X-Men: Dark Phoenix First Look

X-Men: Dark Phoenix is going where none of the previous 10 X-movies have gone before: outer space.

"I would call Dark Phoenix a drama", Lawrence continues.

Turner first debuted her role as Grey in 2016's X-Men: Apocalypse.

While "Dark Phoenix" is still nearly a year away, here's a first look at Sophie Turner's character that will get you excited for the newest "X-Men" installation. Jean will be joined by Mystique (Jennifer Lawrence), Beast (Nicholas Hoult), Storm (Alexandra Shipp), Nightcrawler (Kodi Smit-McPhee), Cyclops (Tye Sheridan) Quicksilver (Evan Peters), Charles Xavier (James McAvoy), and Magneto (Michael Fassbender) in the movie. The mutant team are now national heroes, with James McAvoy's Charles Xavier landing on the cover of Time Magazine - and inflating his ego a little too far. "Pride is starting to get the better of him, and he is pushing the X-Men to more extreme missions", Kinberg says.

In all seriousness, the Dark Phoenix first look is pretty nondescript, with a nude Sophie Turner rocking fiery locks and showing cracks of flame in her skin.

Divya, also took the opportunity to tell Priyank that he doesn't need a girl's support (read: Hina Khan ) to win the show. Her father meets every contestant and lastly kissed her daughter forehead and advice her to talk properly with everyone.

The image comes via Entertainment Weekly and shows Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner as Jean Grey. "There's a lot of sacrifice and a lot of suffering".

The good news for those fans is it looks like new franchise director Simon Kinberg, who also wrote this screenplay, is familiar with the source material and looking to stick closely to it. Kinberg takes over directing duties from Bryan Singer, and confirms that the X-Men will be heading into space. Turner studied schizophrenia and multiple personality disorders to prepare for this hard, volatile role.

The EW story promises the "most sinister, and somber, chapter in the saga and includes a massive twist halfway through that will irrevocably change the course of the franchise".

X-Men: Dark Phoenix will be released on November 2, 2018 - but there's a lot more X-Men centric stuff coming to our screens in the next few years.

"Simon and I were talking about the character and I said, 'I keep thinking of the vet who tells you you need to put your dog down, '" says the actress of her inspiration.
