Pizza Hut testing beer delivery in Phoenix

Pizza sounds good, but not expensive, fancy pizza.

Pizza Hut just announced plans for a beer and wine delivery pilot program in the U.S. When you order a greasy Pizza Hut pie, you will be able to order six packs of Anheuser-Busch beers for $10.99 apiece.

The beer selection will be a six-pack of Budweiser, Bud Light, Shock Top and Kilt Lifter.

Insider News of The Coca-Cola Company (NYSE:KO)
The company's shares were given away at $46.1 per share worth to an income of some $4,610,000 on account of Smith Brian John. The stock has a market cap of $14,172.42, a P/E ratio of 20.05, a price-to-earnings-growth ratio of 0.99 and a beta of 0.93.

Phoenix residents will also be able to get wine included in their Pizza Hut order in January, but the details are more murky on that front. Pizza Hut wants to save you a trip to the wine shop. The company hasn't decided which wines will be available for delivery, or whether it will offer full bottles or single serving options.

Pizza Hut's delivery drivers will be at least 21 years old and trained in local alcohol laws. Customers also have to have their IDs ready at the door to take advantage of delivery. Taco Bell is leaning into alcoholic offerings as well, opening an increasing number of more upscale Cantina locations that serve drinks such as Twisted Freezes with a shot of rum, tequila, or vodka.

Pizza Hut, and parent company Yum Brands, has been investing capital to expand its delivery network as it fights off rival Dominoes.
