John Cena sued by Ford for flipping auto

John Cena, WWE superstar and 'Murican hero, is being sued by Ford for selling his brand new GT on for a massive profit, against the specific instructions of his buyer's contract.

One of the interesting pieces of information that have been revealed about the lawsuit is a claim that Cena sold the Ford GT as well as some of his other possessions to pay his bills, which suggests that he might be in financial trouble of some trouble.

Ford says Cena signed an agreement upon receiving the vehicle that he wouldn't sell it for at least two years.

The ex-WWE wrestler is alleged to have later texted Ford, "I completely understand and as stated, I'm willing to work with you and Ford to make it right". The auto - which TMZ Sports reported was worth $500,000 - breaks the rule of a contract Cena signed with the company.

PayPal Admits Acquired Company TIO Networks Suffered Major Breach
PayPal brought in "additional third-party cybersecurity expertise to review TIO's bill payment platform", TIO continued. The company is now in the process of notifying its clients that may have been affected by this breach.

Ford also claims that it contacted Cena to try to settle the matter out of court, but got the cold shoulder - hence the legal mess that has followed. While most people won't ever be able to buy a Ford GT of their own, interest in that particular vehicle can mean interest in other Ford cars, which is why Ford is claiming losses of brand value and customer goodwill. During an episode posted on October 31, Cena gets behind the wheel of a 2017 Ford GT.

Ford wants restitution for that profit, for "damages and losses, including, but not limited to, loss of brand value, ambassador activity, and customer goodwill due to the improper sale", and for attorney and court costs.

Ford had utterly insane amounts of interest in the third-generation hypercar, so much that it made prospective buyers send in applications as to why they would be the kind of brand ambassadors Ford wanted driving their halo vehicle.
