There are several active warnings for tonight. Winter Weather Advisories are in effect for those areas.

The NWS advisory said the low pressure system had been expected to deliver heavy winds with gusts ranging between 50 miles per hour and 60 miles per hour as well as lower temperatures.

Conditions remain breezy Tuesday night and again Wednesday, with temperatures returning mainly to the 40s.

Tuesday: Mostly sunny, high near 33.

Wednesday: Sunny with a high near 52.

Thursday's forecast calls for mostly cloudy skies with a high of 40 and a 20 percent chance of snow.

With the gusts also comes a dramatic change in temperatures, with highs dropping into the mid- to upper-30s, a massive shift from the mid-60s the area saw Monday.
