Mega Man 11 Confirmed For Switch In 2018

A Nintendo Switch version of both Mega Man Legacy Collection games will launch next year. It's real, official, and coming to a cavalcade of consoles: Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in 2018. It is set to release late 2018. While the art style has changed, the game appears to retain the same run-and-gun action as previous entries in the series, so old fans of the blue bomber should feel at home with Mega Man 11. The game spawned dozens of sequels and spinoffs, but the franchise went mostly dormant since Mega Man 10's release in 2010. We saw a preview of an underground level filled with caverns, digging robots, a miniature Mega Man character model; all in a 2.5D visual presentation. Capcom's Koji Oda is directing the project, and it seems like Capcom is developing it all in house.

Explaining that bad timing kept the Mega Man team from getting the collections onto the Switch right away, Tsuchiya also mentioned that the collection would come with special additions like Amiibo support.

Facebook Unveils Messaging App for Kids
Facebook won't migrate kids over to its "adult" apps when children reach that age, but it's easy to see that happening on its own. If your kid loves playing around with Snapchat face filters, they're probably going to be stoked about Messenger Kids.

With that said, at the time of writing the Mega Man 30th anniversary livestream is still underway, so we can expect some more details.

Mega Man Legacy Collection contains the first Mega Man game through Mega Man 6.
