Officer Involved In Shooting At Hampton, NH Liquor Outlet

New Hampshire Attorney General Gordon MacDonald says there's been an officer-involved shooting at a state liquor store in Hampton.

Officers responded to the store located at 1437 Sam's Drive in Chesapeake to a report of a robbery there shortly after 10 a.m., police spokeswoman Master Police Officer Kelly Elliott said in a news release.

However, the statement did not identify which police agency was involved, nor was any information released about the condition of the person who was shot.

We're told a white male armed with a handgun and a black male entered the store.

I-95 southbound remained open during the investigation; however, officials closed the entrance to the liquor store. He said that based on the sound of the shot he believed that it happened outside.

If you saw the pickup truck between 12:00-12:30 p.m., you're asked to call State Police at 603-223-4831.

Video from Sky7 shows a heavy police presence at the store.

He described the scene as a "standoff" with a man who was standing between the store and a vehicle.

We'll have updates on Boston 25 News at 4 and online.

An officer was shot while trying to take one of the suspects in to custody. She said she eventually parked next to a tractor-trailer with another woman and "waited for it to be over" because she couldn't leave.
