Chelsea's £60m Sandro exclusive; Man Utd, Liverpool, Arsenal latest

Juventus general director Giuseppe Marotta has confirmed they have rejected a bid from Chelsea for defender Alex Sandro.

Antonio Conte is keen to strengthen his side ahead of their return to the Champions League and had identified the Brazilian as an upgrade on current left wing-back Marcos Alonso.

The 26-year-old has a contract with Juventus until June 2020.

The same article states that Chelsea would have to offer a fee in the region of £45-50m to sign the left-back this summer. As a result, the Italian has reportedly considered leaving the club, with none of his transfer targets having been signed, as The Metro reported.

Alex Sandro was widely linked with a move to the Premier League last season, but stayed with Juventus and has since enjoyed much success.

Chelsea was reportedly willing to pay up to €60 million ($88 million) for the left wing-back, but Juventus has no intention of parting with the Brazil worldwide. And players are always their own boss.

Chelsea's long-standing interest in Bakayoko is also likely to come to fruition, with the France global set to join for a fee in excess of £40m after a fine season at the heart of Monaco's Ligue 1 title-winning midfield.

The Guardian also briefly mention new backup goalkeeper Willy Caballero arriving on a free transfer on July 1, as well as Chelsea's confidence in Conte agreeing to the £9.6-a-year deal that's on the table.
