'Game of Thrones' 7th season will have longer episodes than usual

Because the forthcoming season is much shorter than past installments, slashed from a usual 10 episodes to just seven, packing more content into each episode may help make up for lost time.

Truth be told, we couldn't care how many episodes of the world's best show are left, once they manage to maintain the superb standard that they've set over the course of six seasons. However, a new report suggests that not only will numerous episodes be almost a whole hour in length, but that the last two will be almost feature-length in and of themselves.

"One will be our longest episode ever - it's coming in around 90 minutes", showrunner David Benioff added.

Why does this matter? That's 13 minutes longer than the season 6 finale, "The Winds of Winter".

North America's oldest company will be cutting 2000 jobs
The company said it expects to save more than $350 million per year once the plan was fully implemented by the end of fiscal 2018. Liz Rodbell was president of Hudson's Bay and Lord & Taylor in the United States and will continue in the latter role.

One not so great note about Season 7 episode lengths: Episode 4 will only run 50 minutes long, tying the series' shortest episodes.

Take a look at Episode 6 of The JOE Show - Ireland's first social chat show - featuring live studio guests Otherkin, the stars of Baywatch and The Mummy, there's music from Pine The Pilcrow, crackin' new comedy from Shifts, and Kymann Power and Joe Gorman bust some sexy moves with the Lords Of Strut.

.

Though the Season 7 episode lengths may, in the end, shift a little between now and their airdate, HBO.com has revealed massively super-sized, record-breakingly long episodes on its schedule.

"Just finished reading season 7, s**t gets REAL". The sixth and penultimate episode of the season will be 71 minutes long.

Clear your Sunday calendar's this summer, because there's about to be a whole lot of Game of Thrones in your life.
