Mike Dubke, White House Communications Director, Resigns After 3 Months on Job

Mike Dubke, White House Communications Director, Resigns After 3 Months on Job

President Donald Trump has accepted the resignation of communications director Mike Dubke, according to a White House official.

Dubke tendered his resignation on May 18th but offered to stay on through the president's first foreign trip to help with the transition following his short three-month tenure. A final day has not been set, Dubke said.

Last week, the Arizona lawmaker said investigations into allegations of ties between Trump's campaign and Russian Federation were reaching "Watergate size and scale".

He later added a defense of his use of Twitter, saying the media "works hard at disparaging & demeaning my use of social media because they don't want America to hear the real story!".

"It is my opinion that numerous leaks coming out of the White House are fabricated lies made up by the #FakeNews media", Trump tweeted Sunday.

Such a move would've likely meant a significant financial sacrifice to keep his West Wing job at a time when rumors were swirling that he was about to be fired anyway. "Any way that you can communicate with people, particularly organizations that are maybe not particularly friendly to us, is a good thing". She said, "We in Europe have to take our fate into our own hands".

Clapper previously testified before a Senate judiciary subcommittee that he was not aware of any evidence demonstrating collusion between President Donald Trump's campaign and Russian Federation - but he also said he had been unaware of an FBI investigation into the matter until former FBI Director James Comey announced it publicly at a House hearing in March. The federal authorities are concentrating on his meeting with Kislyak and a Russian banking executive last December. "Extremely unlikely", Judge Napolitano said.

China, EU to announce joint climate plans, support for Paris deal
Hundreds of high-profile businesses have also spoken out in favor of the deal, including Apple, Google and Walmart. But Trump's daughter Ivanka pressed aides to look at the full picture when considering what withdrawal could mean.

"Secretary Kelly and Gen. McMaster have both discussed that, in general terms. back channels are an appropriate part of diplomacy", Spicer said.

Apart from tha there was a lot going on about Russian Federation being involved in the selection of the new President of America and then the problems that happened between the countries with spy ships this again is a new problem that has come up.

The sources said the position of communications director will remain vacant for a while as the President considers retooling his entire messaging operation.

The Trump administration has yet to name who will replace Mr. Dubke as Communications Director.

However, Trump has privately and publicly pinned much of the blame for his administration's woes on the communications effort.

The lawmakers outlined their concerns in a letter to White House general counsel Don McGahn on Wednesday.

The justices on Tuesday agreed to hear an appeal from state officials defending the process against challengers who say it's illegal.
